Expected duration: Ongoing Hi! I’m Rui, and I run a YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@OZRuiShi) with 5.4k subscribers, focusing on personal finance for Australian viewers. My videos are 8-15 minutes long, and I aim to release at least one video per week. To help take my content to the next level, I’m looking for an affordable and skilled video editor to join me.
What I Need Help With I already have basic to medium-level video editing skills and work in Adobe Premiere Pro. I’m seeking an editor who can either: 1. Match my current editing level at a low cost, or 2. Help me level up my videos by incorporating better infographic animations, sound design, and overall visual enhancements at a low-to-medium cost.
Here’s what you’ll be helping with: • Infographic Animations: This is the main area where I want to elevate my content, making the presentation of information more engaging and visually dynamic. • B-roll Selections: Source relevant footage, including stock footage, news clips, or movie snippets where appropriate. • Sound Design: Add sound effects and refine audio for a polished result. • Transitions and Effects: Incorporate clean, modern transitions to enhance flow. • Other Creative Enhancements: Anything else to improve the overall quality while staying consistent with my channel’s tone.
Requirements • Must use Adobe Premiere Pro (so I can make final tweaks if needed). • Experience with After Effects for creating infographic animations is essential. • Ability to source and integrate relevant B-roll footage, including stock footage, news clips, or movie snippets. • Prior experience editing personal finance videos is preferred but not mandatory.
What You Can Expect • Workload: Start with 1 video per month, with the potential to increase to 2-4/month over time. • Turnaround Time: 2-3 weeks per video. • Revisions: Feedback and revisions will be managed through Frame.io. While I require unlimited revisions initially, I’ll provide clear instructions to streamline the process and save time for both of us. • Collaboration: Files will be shared via Google Drive or another method we agree on. • Creativity: You’ll have medium-level autonomy to inject your creativity while maintaining the channel’s style.
