This is a project with a few requirements:
1. Irish-language (Irish Gaelic) specialist wanted for linguistic validation. This specific project involves a translation into Irish Gaelic of 2214 words, which will be evaluated over the telephone with five participants.
Language: Irish (Gaelic) Country or area: Ireland Condition: cancer (breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, gynaecologic, head and neck, lymphoma, leukaemia, melanoma, myeloma, prostate, thoracic) Number of participants: 5 adults (18+) Number of words: 2214 Compensation: $150/€135 (approx.) Interviews: telephone Expected start date: December 2024 Requirements:
• Native in Irish Gaelic • Good with people • Ability to organize well • Prompt communication • Residence in Ireland (any location)
The worked is conducted entirely by e-mail and telephone, and can be adapted to your schedule.
2. Five native Irish speakers with one of the conditions noted above to help evaluate the quality of a translation into Irish intended for use with the target group there. Everything will be conducted over the telephone, and no English is required to participate.
