We are gathering dialogue from business scenes in order to improve the accuracy of our speech recognition algorithm for British English. To assist with a recording project, we are looking for someone having a native standard UK English accent. When recording, you and your chat partners need to be in separate rooms.
There are five recordings made during the recording procedure. We will provide a topic for each recording, so you will need to improvise a 45-minute conversation with your partner and record using an app on your phone.
All participants must connect their laptops to earphones to join the Zoom conference (voice only). In the meantime, record your own conversations using the phone app.
Requirements: - Native Standard UK English speaker - Access to phone, laptop, and headphones - A calm setting with reliable WiFi
