I am seeking an experienced Shopify developer to create a complete turnkey Shopify store for a niche wall art business. The store will focus on selling high-quality art prints with integrated Print-On-Demand (POD) services, preferably using Prodigi or another platform the developer recommends based on their expertise.
Project Overview: - Theme: I have implemented the Rosyz theme from Envato Elements, but I’m open to starting from scratch if needed. - Slideshows: A few slideshows have been created, which you can use or replace as necessary. - Designs: I have 28 designs in 2 styles that need to be assigned to collections and products, with size and framing variations. - Customization: The project includes setting prices, creating at least 10 product mockups, and providing these in PSD format with smart objects for easy future updates.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Setup: - Develop a fully functional Shopify store. - Customize the theme based on references from competitors and a specific store that I want to replicate. (will be provided) - Install and configure essential Shopify apps, including: (Product reviews, Currency conversion, Pop-ups, Customization options, Any other apps required to enhance store functionality)
POD Integration: - Integrate POD functionality into the store to enable seamless order fulfillment and assign variations to POD supplier products. - Preferably use Prodigi or another recommended POD platform based on your expertise.
Product and Collection Management: - Assign the 28 designs to relevant collections with size and framing variations. - Set pricing after discussion. - Create and integrate at least 10 high-quality product mockups and size guide. - Highlight a customization option for clients to create personalized wall art using their images and text, with prominent placement on the homepage.
Page Setup and Content Creation: - Set up all necessary store pages, including: (About Us, Sustainability, Size Guide, Shipping & Delivery, Returns, Contact Us, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Affiliate)
Optimization: - Ensure the store is optimized for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness to provide a smooth user experience and improve search engine rankings.
Marketing Guidance: - Provide initial guidance on marketing strategies, including Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest ads.
Support and Performance Bonus: - Offer 3 months of post-launch support for troubleshooting and store optimization. - A bonus of $300 will be awarded if the store generates over $500 in profit within the first 3 months.
Requirements: - Proven experience in developing Shopify stores, particularly within the Print-On-Demand (POD) industry. - Strong understanding of Shopify apps and integrations. - Expertise in speed optimization, SEO, and mobile responsiveness. - Proficiency in creating media elements, including slideshows and mockups. - Experience with product and collection management, as well as customizing themes. - Ability to replicate and enhance features from competitor stores. - Knowledge of digital marketing, particularly in running ads on social media platforms.
