We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sourcing Agent in China to join our international company. As a sourcing agent and assistant, you will be responsible for managing and facilitating our business relationships with suppliers and manufacturers in China and the East. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Sourcing and procurement:
Identify and source high-quality products and materials from reputable suppliers in China and the East. Negotiate terms and prices with suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and favorable terms. Conduct market research and analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and products. Prepare and submit purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Monitor and expedite the production process, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met. Quality control:
Conduct quality inspections and audits of suppliers and products to ensure compliance with our company's quality standards. Work closely with suppliers to address any quality issues or concerns and implement corrective measures. Coordinate with our quality assurance team to ensure that products meet our customer's requirements and specifications. Logistics and shipping:
Coordinate with logistics providers and shipping agents to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of products. Prepare shipping documents and customs declarations, ensuring compliance with international regulations. Monitor shipment progress and handle any shipping-related issues or delays. Documentation and reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier information, purchase orders, and shipping records. Prepare reports and presentations on sourcing activities, market trends, and supplier performance. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience as a sourcing agent or assistant in China or the East. Strong understanding of the Chinese market, including supplier dynamics, industry trends, and regulatory requirements. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both in written and verbal Chinese. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with quality control and logistics processes.
