Looking for a highly qualified and experienced website developer to select an existing theme for us to use/ modify. (Pages are Basic) The website must be done within 2 weeks after being hired.
Some of the site criteria are as follows:
a. - Website must be responsive (appear properly on all devices)
b. - Website must load quickly
c. - Website must be able to be managed as part of Wordpress multisite (if utilizing wordpress)
d. - Need way to authorize specific authors to write, and we need a way for outside authors to submit their articles to us.
e. Need the following pages:
(i) Home page
(ii) Individual article page with images, advertising sections, links to related articles, and other articles, and comments
(iii) Page for each author (about author); automatically include author's past articles on the site
(iv.) Category/ sub-category page
(v) Privacy/ Legal
(vi) Directory (Enable companies to add themselves (subject to approval); to be found on directory and categorized in process of submitting to the directory (subject to my approval)
(vii) Contact Us Page
(viii) Blog Page - Multi-user - Ideal is that a user can create their own blog on our page site. It must be subject to our approval. We want the option of approving it automatically and the ability to remove a blog from our site. We want to be able to list the blogs by category (state, county, city, category/ subcategory, etc...), and have them appear on a page so others can read them.
(ix) Additional standard pages: Privacy/ Terms and Conditions; About Us, FAQ, Contact Us
(x) Site has social media links, RSS Feeds that need to be set up
(xi) Site capable of being cloned for different topics
Ex. of similar site: https://www.foodsafetynews.com/
If possible: I am interested in consolidating news in a certain section of the website.
