We are seeking a skilled and creative Website Developer and Designer to refresh our business's WordPress website. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and design, with experience working on WordPress websites. The Website Developer and Designer will be responsible for redesigning and updating our website to improve its visual appeal, user experience, and functionality.
Responsibilities: -Collaborate with the marketing team to understand the business's goals and website requirements. -Conduct a thorough review of the current website and identify areas for improvement. -Develop a website refresh plan, including a timeline and deliverables. -Design and develop new website features and pages using WordPress and other relevant tools. -Ensure the website is responsive and optimized for mobile devices. -Integrate plugins and third-party tools to enhance website functionality. -Test the website across different browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and performance. -Provide training and support to the marketing team on managing and updating the website.
Qualifications: -Proven experience in web development and design, with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress projects. -Proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies. -Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization. -Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices. -Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. -Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. -Experience with SEO best practices is a plus.
