Part-time Graphic Designer for East Asian Yoga & Tai Chi Organization

Who Are We? Body & Brain is a 27-year-old East Asian Yoga & Tai Chi practice founded by New York bestselling author Ilchi Lee. We believe that changing our world starts with self-love, and from that foundation comes the love for our environment and all living beings in it. Our mind-body-spirit practice is designed to help people recover their true selves to be healthy, happy, and peaceful. We operate over 80 centers in 19 states nationwide. Our classes include a combination of breathing & relaxation techniques, physical exercise, yoga, stretching, tai chi, qigong, brain education, martial arts, visualization, and meditation.
Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for a Graphic Designer to create eye-catching artwork for our company including landing pages, emails, posters, brochures, and social media. Our ideal candidate is organized, team-spirited, self-starting, skilled, and creative with an eye for detail. We’re looking for a designer with an understanding of fundamental design principles and an elegant style. Our ideal designer would also have basic copywriting skills to create relevant written content on our printed and online materials. And if you can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we'd like to meet you.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
Responsibilities: Designing aesthetically beautiful graphics for various mediums based on marketing goals (e.g. posters, brochures, landing pages, event branding, ads, social media, etc.) Interpret marketing briefs to understand project requirements Collaborate with other members of the Body & Brain staff on large and small-scale marketing projects Managing design files in an organized way for team accessibility & sharing Source images and other content
