I am seeking an experienced Joomla extension developer to help with some module tasks. I have a development environment and can provide you with Joomla/FTP credentials.
TASK 1:
Create a new PHP layout for a module I've built.
This module reads Office Hours that are in 24-hour time format (HH:MM), from the custom Joomla template that I have built.
I need the module layout to check the current day & time, and time zone
Then compare that to the Office Hours
Then display the current Office Hours in 12-hour format. For example "OPEN TODAY: 8:00AM - 6:00PM" (or "CLOSED" if the current day/time is outside of Office Hours)
TASK 2
We have a client with a 3rd party vendor that produces an RSS feed
I have tried several Joomla RSS reader modules
But they do not recognize the XML and are unable to display the feeds
I need you to examine the vendor's XML format and make changes to the Joomla RSS reader module, so that it will read the vendor XML format and display the values from the following XML tags:
title
author
description
d3:rating
d3:rating is simply a number between 0 and 100
FUTURE TASKS:
We may need to develop a custom component this year. With that in mind, I would like to hire a candidate who specializes in components, modules, plugins, and templates — and understands Joomla 4/5. Examples of extensions you worked on would be great. An approximate time estimate for each of my tasks would be even better.
