We need a coder to design an app to automate out system... See video attached.
In our current setup, we receive a zip file when the payment, completes, containing a SVG file, and an XML file, both of which relate to the client's design. The SVG file contains the graphics of the design, and the XML file contains the order details such as quantity, client name template style et cetera.
We need a skilled coder/developer to create a Mac application or browser-based option for managing zip files that contain SVG and XML files. The app should provide a user-friendly interface to handle the zip files, and modify the contained SVG and XML files.
In the app you will develop, we want to be able to drop this zip file mentioned above into a hot folder or the app itself and have the app perform the following actions:
Look into XML file.
• Search data for quantity and customer name
• Copy the quantity and customer name and safe for later
Regarding the SVG file:
• find the background file on our system by using specific details found in the XML file, RATHER than allow the SVG file seek for the link online.
• Retain the position, size, and font choice of the text
• Retain the position, size of any images uploaded by the customer, which will also contained in the original .zip file
• enlarge background image by 4%.
• Save as PDF and scale to a specific size (eg. for business cards - 85x55mm, plus 2mm bleed all round. So 89x59mm with a crop size of 85x55)
• Name the PDF with the previously copied quantity and customer name details (Ie 100xjohn smith)
