We're seeking an experienced Wordpress developer to join our team. As a Wordpress developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Wordpress websites for our clients. You will work closely with our design team to ensure that the websites we create are visually stunning and user-friendly.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Wordpress websites, themes, and plugins for our clients - Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise - Optimise websites for speed and performance - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code - Ensure websites are secure and up-to-date - Manage and update website content as needed - Provide ongoing support and maintenance for websites
Requirements:
- At least two year of solid experience as a Wordpress developer - Strong proficiency in Wordpress development, including custom theme, plugin, and gutenberg block development - Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Object-Oriented PHP - Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development - Experience with website optimisation techniques and web security best practices - Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines - Proficient in version control systems (Git) and project management tools - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Familiarity with custom field development and implementation using ACF is a plus - Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other design tools is a plus - Any experience in Docker, Composer, Webpack, Node or React is a plus
