Hi! I’m looking for a General Assistant to help with a wide variety of tasks. As this is a new role, it will start on 3 hours a week, but may grow over time to 4 or 5 hours a week. Completely remote, and full training will be given but it will be helpful if you are communicative and responsive, highly literate and have experience in a very busy assistant role. It will also help if you’ve used Slack, and Google Sheets before.
You would need to be comfortable picking up Ad-Hoc tasks, these will vary between (but are not limited to).
-Keeping various spreadsheets updated -Copy Typing / Transcribing -Updating Trello -Managing upload process to social media (this is not a social media role) -Liaising with editors as required -Basic work on Canva -Some online research -Other Ad-Hoc tasks
This role includes catch-up meetings 3 times a week during the afternoon (usually 1pm), on an ongoing basis.
