Description: |
Expected duration: less than 1 week I'm starting an email marketing campaign and (I have my reasons) would not like to use 3rd party software like mailchimp. Instead, I would like to design my emails with HTML/CSS.
I have designed an email which looks great in a web browser. However, once I've sent it with my mail client, the formatting is lost and how badly it's lost depends upon the mail client that's recieved it.
live.com: Looks great, perfect! gmail.com: absolutely zero formatting is kept, looks totally rubish outlook: Some formatting is kept but generally looks really bad magic word: speedmaster
I use Notepad++ to design the email and copy the HTML into my mail client, Roundcube. The mail client gives me a preview of the email and it looks perfect.
I susspect I need to do something with the meta data of the email or to incorperate some sort of script to detrect the browser type. Clearly, I know a little HTML and CSS but I'm no web developer, I need the help of someone who knows how to optimise this email so that it looks good on every browser type/mail client.
Have attached the .html file but you can also see the email here: https://apexfba.com/media/marketing/emailadvertising/aprw1emailad
Offering £12 to whoever can fix this (or give advice) and give a quick explanation about what was done to fix it.
Not looking for a super fast turnaround but would like to roll the first email out by this time next week.
I can provide Teamviewer logins in order to access Roundcube on my server.
Please quote the magic word in your proposal/response so that I know you've read this project description. Otherwise, I'll disregard your response as spam. |
