I want to use my website as a blog and a news aggregator. In addition to my blog posts, I would like to share news fed by the RSS plugin from other websites - within the legally allowed limit. This means short excerpts will be directed to the news's original resource. The theme was already installed, as well as the RSS plugin.
Here are the tasks that need to be done, please read carefully before submitting any bid:
1. Adding 50 categories/tags to the site (titles like Green Energy, AI, Robotics - the full list would be given in an excel)
2. Connecting 50 categories to RSS sources (RSS addresses would be provided), plus supporting me for IFTTT integration.
3. Adjust the post frequency and post settings of the news on the RSS Plugin (Echo RSS Feed Post Generator) to ensure regular post updates for the 50 categories created.
4. After the news excerpts are published when clicked, a small browser window should open the original news site to show the full news (not a separate post page on my website), But this needs to be done in a way that the visitor should not be lost connection with my side. After the visitor finishes reading the news, close the extra window and keep reading the rest on my side.
5. Customisation of Navigation and Menus, adding my logo and slogans. Soledad templated is installed; everything is drag-drop and fully documented.
6. Preparing a dummy Landing Page to introduce my book - when published. Then Creating a separate section for my blog posts in a way that they would be harmonised with the regular upcoming news.
Although the list may look long, for an experienced and skilled WP developer, it should not take more than an hour to complete them all - as the goal is clear, data is ready, and the template and plugins were already installed.
