We are looking for a focused, goal driven and hardworking candidate for the position of an SEO Specialist. You will Analyze existing content and implement changes that will help websites rank higher on search engine results pages (SERPs), in turn, driving more traffic. Assist handling social media channels and profiles across multiple platforms, create engaging content, help monitor websites, online reputation management and assist with OEM needs. The candidate must possess excellent writing skills and engagement strategies to help connect customers with our brand and products. The position is Remote.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Research keywords and incorporate them into website content that is helpful to its audience. Developing content, including narratives, article intent, keyword phrases, and references for writers. Stay up to date on the parameters used by various search engines to rank websites. Generate high-quality content assets, including blog posts, landing pages, website copy, etc. Complete writing requests by deadlines, following requirements in the content briefs. Review written articles for quality assurance and, where appropriate, suggest adjustments to ensure content is consistent, clear, and aligned with our brand voice. Analyze a website's performance, identify weaknesses and develop solutions. Efficiently and effectively write a variety of content requested by the Corporate Team. Coordinate directly with the Creative Director on all assets related to content creation. Collaborate with internal team to support content production. Help develop social media channels with techniques to engage our audiences, increase brand awareness and help build a community of followers. Monitor and track performance of website and social content activity, set benchmarks and continually review techniques and best practices. Able to successfully manage multiple social media channels. Create timelines and content calendar/publishing schedule. Assist with asset creation including photography. Communicate with followers and respond to queries in a timely manner. Help monitor negative and positive reviews across various platforms (Google, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Yelp, Cars.com, DealerRater, Cargurus, BBB and more). Monitor internal Reputation Management System. Contribute to the overall success of the dealership by working with teams and departments collaboratively and professionally with a positive attitude. Document and create content (video and images) on community events and dealership activities. Assist with OEM needs across different portals/platforms. Help with printed material and graphics needed following branding guidelines. Maintain dealership information accurate and images/branding on compliance on all third-party websites and platforms. Help monitor website and advertising.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1+ years of experience writing various content types, including blogs, articles, case studies, etc. Ability to write and optimize content for search engine ranking and conversions. Detail-oriented and excellent project and time management skills. Strong grasp of grammar and grammatical nuances. Commitment to the company’s culture and quality standards. Experience writing about and researching digital marketing topics: SEO, paid search, social media marketing, and content marketing. Ability to be productive in a consistent manner, with innovative and forward-thinking mindset. Learn and adapt to new technologies and trends. Experience with web and social publishing platforms including but not limited to, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn, etc. Solid understanding of the digital landscape, social media and emerging social platforms. Working knowledge of the Adobe Suite & photography. Hands on experience in content management, excellent copywriting skills and ability to deliver creative content on both web and social media. Strong written communication skills. Demonstrate creative thinking and a proactive planning and execution of communication initiatives, ability to effectively handle multiple activities and critical attention to detail. Ability to work as part of the team and manage time and tasks efficiently. Team-oriented with a desire to achieve both individual and collective goals.
