Global Lingo has a big project coming up and we are currently building the dedicated teams for this client account. Please find below the project specifics.
Service required: remote attendance minute-taking (this means attending live from home our client’s meetings during which time you will be required to take notes of what’s being discussed; then you’ll be required to write up the full summary (in other words the formal minutes) of the meeting you attended based on the notes you’ve taken during the call.
Language combinations: - Spanish(Mexico) into English (some meetings will be in Spanish and you will be required to produce the summary straight into English, which is going to be your final deliverable to our client) - English into English. We also need our Spanish into English Minute-Takers to double as English to English MT-ers. Would you be able and comfortable to do this?
Specialism: our client is a global bank, however the meetings you’ll have to attend are going to be interviews and case calls for their Employee Relations teams.
Project volume: on average, the Minute Takers should have availability to cover 9-10 meetings per month.
Dedicated team size: we need to consolidate a team of 4 minute-takers who can support both language combos above and be available to support us with this high volume of work.
Turnaround time: you will have 24-48 hours to complete the summary of each attended meeting. Project end date: the entire project will go on for the rest of 2022. • Are you able to commit to this large project and make yourself available to our Project Managers? To assess your suitability for the role, could you please confirm: • if you have experience with professional writing/editing/transcribing and translating into the requested target languages? • if you are located in Mexico? • if you are interested and suitable, could you please let us know your proposed rate per minute of meeting/interview? Please note that Global Lingo pays minute-takers per minute of meeting and this rate comprises the effort of both attending the call + taking notes and then completing the final summary.
Finally, please note that you will have to attend our live induction/training sessions (one for each language combo) ahead of the project start. During that session, you will also be required to take a live minute-taking test which will simulate a real-life scenario. This step is absolutely mandatory to ensure a consistent quality level of the entire dedicated freelance team.
Furthermore, if the test will be successful, you’ll have to follow our vetting procedure which includes, as a final step, some background checks conducted by Sterling Risq, which is a third-party partner of ours. In case you are not available/interested/suitable for this opportunity, could you please recommend someone for this job and/or share this opportunity within your professional circle?
