Expected duration: 3 - 4 weeks We have an 80 page catalolgue to translate. It needs to be translated into German, Dutch, Spanish and French. It is in Powerpoint format so you will need to translate directly into the Powerpoint file. You will need to be proficient in and have access to this software.
I would ideally like four separate translators, each one being a NATIVE speaker of that particular language. This catalogue is for a lock manufacturer and there are many industry specific terms used in the text. We have distributors in each country and would ask that if you find a word that is not familiar to you, you highlight it in a colour and our distributors can check for industry terminology. We don't expect you to be experts in lock manufacturing terminology.
The pages vary in complexity. I have attached a pdf of this catalogue for you to assess.
You will need the fonts that we use and for licensing reasons I can't supply them. You will need Ubuntu, Arial Narrow, Open sans, Fira, Monserrat.
For now we are working on a catalogue, with no pricing but on completion of this work, I will ask each freelancer to quote for a separate priced version of this work. That is a separate job and rather smaller than this initial first stage.
I would like to apologise in advance if I don't respond to freelancers on this work. I don't like to be impolite but so often on People per Hour I have had a lot of responses and we are terribly busy at the moment on multiple projects and I won't have the time to do anything but respond to individuals who I think would be able to help with this.
Regarding budget. I am forced to put a budget price by People Per Hour but I really don't have one. I would only ask that you estimate the time it would take you and quote accordingly. The budget figure stated is only stated in order to comply with People Per Hour posting rules.
