As our Social Media Manager/and or agency you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Marketing and Social Media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with the Marketing Director and Sales Manager The role will be initially responsible for generating good quality B2B enquiries from new prospects, working closely with the Sales Manager. They are expected to develop and implement a comprehensive B2B marketing plan including, but not limited to social media (paid and organic), email marketing and lead generation. The role will also be responsible for the consumer marketing activity for the GoPlayGolf site primarily using social media platform and advertising strategies. The role will include: 1. Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy 2. Define most important social media KPIs 3. Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimisation 4. Management of social media platforms and targeted campaigns- organic and paid strategies 5.. Liaising with the management team to establish social media marketing needs and develop new ideas and solutions 6. Manage the marketing and social media budget and reporting on effectiveness
Skills, knowledge, and behaviour • Good copywriting skills • Good communication skills - both written and verbal • Sound knowledge of current marketing and social media platforms including MailChimp, LinkedIn, Google ads, remarketing • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to manage different projects • Understanding of the golf business and key challenges facing golf clubs- desirable but not essential
The role will receive a monthly retainer and an agreed paid strategy budget, increasing as the site rolls out throughout the UK. Its requires an October start.
