Expected duration: 3 - 4 weeks We have an email bot based game service where users respond to emails containing puzzles with answers and if their answers are correct they recieve the next email.
We are looking to open up this platform to allow others to create games through a web app. We have the begining of this web app built in RoR but are looking for help to finish the project. On the finished platform users should be able to create a game, create a set of puzzles, create a set of responses to wrong answers and clues, test and publish their game.
We have low fidelity designs (balsamiq) for all screens and high fidelity designs (figma) for some keys screens.
What the project Involves: - Working with our Lead Developer, build the remaining parts of the platform - Building some reasonably complex business flows in Ruby - Creating screens matching the style of the designs using templating & sass - Working with an existing code base - Working with github (creating pull requests and having them reviewed) - Regular communication with our developer through video calls and slack (so good English is a requirement)
Key skills required are: - Ruby on Rails (multiple previous projects) - Sass (we are using materialize for the project) - Some basic javascript
We expect to need 100 or more hours of your time for this phase of development, if this phase of the project is successful there will likely be more work in the future so we are looking for a long term partner.
Tasks are broken down by our lead developer so will be very well defined and small.

Interview Phases - Review of your answers to the pph questions we have selected - A short zoom interview (15-20 minutes) - An introduction to the project with out lead dev (paid at agreed rate) - An intial set of test tasks (paid at agreed rate)
