Social Media & Digital Media Assistance – Job Description Freelance- 16hrs per week
PPA have an exciting opportunity to appoint a part time freelance Media Assistant. Reporting to the Creative Director and the Creative Co-ordinator. As Media Assistant you would be responsible for maintaining and updating all College marketing material, Website updates, Social Media content and scheduling and all in-house and promotional branding. You will have the opportunity to take ownership and make an impact within our growing social media platforms, whilst following the brand guidelines. The position requires a comprehensive knowledge of graphic design and social media. The role would suit a social media guru, graphic design whiz and content creator. You must be able to demonstrate prior experience devising and implementing organic & paid social media campaigns for clients/ brands across all platforms. Skills Good experience of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro Working knowledge of WordPress and Mailchimp Knowledge and experience of the following social media platforms: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook andLinkedIn Flair for design and copywriting. Graphic design, photography, videography and copywriting You’re reliable, able to work independently and show initiative Excellent written and communication skillsKey Duties Responsible for answering and solving day to day media queries and problems that arise. Always having an eye on upcoming trends Interact with direct messages on all social platforms. Flair for design and copywriting across social media platforms. Promote the equality, diversity and inclusion ethos at PPA Assist with production visuals such as projections. Graphic design, photography, videography, copywriting and scheduling posts. Passionate about media and full of innovative ideas. Creating production media (posters, leaflets and other marketing material) High level of attention to detail. Work well under pressure for quick turnarounds Designing emails via Mailchimp to promote shows To attend end of term meetings and compulsory training where applicable
