The aim of this project is the creation of a new website for Rambler Coaches. The website design will be stylish, modern and user friendly to position the business well within the market for brand awareness and product sales. The website needs to be interactive eCommerce booking system, allowing the client to sell package tours directly from the website. The website layout needs to allow users to easily find information, and designed to help them choose services and contact / book them. The site needs to be designed around a core of standard information and image content pages, fully optimized for search engine results. The site needs to also include supporting blog content, services / product pages, landing pages for marketing campaigns, contact forms and maps. The site needs to be constructed around an eCommerce booking facility, that will allow us to sell and manage all of their tours and package holidays via the website. This system will be fully comprehensive, allowing customers to book and pay online with their details including choosing seats on the coaches. The site will feature an in-depth search and filter system allowing customers to choose tours based on features such as location, duration, costs and experience details. This system needs to be designed to allow our staff to manage bookings via the site, allowing the taking of bookings via phone calls and the management of booking and printing of itinerary details for checking guests in and out of tours.
The system needs to feature a customer dashboard system that will allow customers to login to the site and print their tickets, which will also be emailed to them during the purchase transaction. Customers can also make special requests and edit their details via the site, and staff members need to be able to do the same as well. This booking system needs to be easy to use; but advanced; and will provide the client with site features that customers will be looking for, helping the client’s sales and brand awareness. The website needs to be designed on a responsive framework to allow the site to display perfectly on computer screens as well as mobile and tablet devices, across all networks and operating systems. The website needs to be constructed using a content management system (WordPress CMS) to allow the us to edit and manage the site after launch.
The new website needs to be constructed with future development in mind, allowing for easy expansion based on the MySQL database and PHP platform if necessary.
