One of our clients (Racing4business) is looking for a content Manager to join our team on a time-basis. You must have a good knowledge of horse racing and/or horse ownership. The individual will be responsible for creating and managing content, alongside some administrative tasks, across a number of different projects including Burrow Seven and the Bez Racing Club. Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with creative writing skills and the ability to edit some video content for social media use. As a Content manager, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented.
Responsibilities • Create and publish engaging content for individual Racing Club websites, social media channels and newsletters. • Develop monthly editorial calendars for each Racing Club and take responsibility for gathering and writing all content to sit across channels. • Take responsibility for managing and growing all social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube) which will involve writing and scheduling all posts, producing video cut downs and community management • Liaise with digital and PR agencies to brief in content requirements and campaigns • Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels • Stay up-to-date with industry news and developments and generate new ideas to sell memberships • Take responsibility for some administrative tasks including fulfilment of all merchandise sales and inbound membership enquries
Requirements • Proven experience within a Communications Team as a Content Manager or Social Media role • Familiarity with social media platforms • Ability to edit video material for social media use • Excellent writing skills in English • Attention to detail • Good organizational and time-management skills
