We a growing SME eCommerce business, and are looking for a creative WordPress and Shopify designer-developer
Responsible for both front-end and back-end development including adapting and creating WordPress & Shopify themes, apps, and plugins
We need someone with a combination of programming skills (PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript please) and strong aesthetic abilities (understanding colour, font, and element arrangements on screen).
Knowledge of WordPress, themes and plugins. Knowledge of Shopify, themes and apps. Front-end development experience using Javascript, HTML5 & CSS3. Knowledge of Javascript, JQuery, PHP or MYSQL database. Design and development experience with Shopify CMS and Liquid. Experience in implementing responsive design. Perform browser testing and ensure cross-browser compatibility. Website optimisation for SEO, performance and speed. Eye for design across websites and other digital media. Knowledge of Adobe products including XD, Photoshop and Illustrator.
This role would suit a junior designer looking to add to their exsisting portfolio. For the right person this could be the start of multipul projects. Please be fluent in English both verabally and written and be able to work UK hours
