Are you a native English speaker (maybe from the UK) that is fun and creative, and that can write engaging copy, has an eye for visual detail, and loves engaging in online communities (and is bored by hundreds of DULL PPH projects!).
I'm Tom, and I've got a passion project which I've been working on for the last 2 years and it's called the Life Hack "Diet".
It's all about helping normal people (we call them our Rebels) to achieve amazing things through firstly leaning to lose weight, and then them actually realising they can achieve their shelved dreams! I'm so excited about this project and you'd be one of the first people I'll be bringing on board to help me with this so I only want good people on the bus!
It's going to be a crazy ride, you won't get rich (in the short term anyway) but it will definitely excite, interest and stretch you. It's fast paced and fun and your work will really be making a difference by helping other people to be the best version of themselves also.
In terms of skills you just need to be good online at engaging, and be a quick learner on the computer. We use tools like: Canva, Trello, Office, Facebook ,Instagram and Linkedin
What I'm looking for is someone that can:- 1) Help research, discuss and write engaging posts (both short social media, and longer) based on our content calendar and then post them online (we support you through this) 2) Put together promotional images on Canva using our guidelines, our image library, stock photos and loads of your creativity. Canva (like a simpler photoshop) is SOOOO easy to use, you just need a good eye for detail and the rest will work (we have templates to follow also but I bet you'll create your own eventually). 3) Keep our customers engaged by managing our social media platforms, support them on the course, signposting them to information, helping them and generally making it a happy and inclusive place to be. This is all about us walking the talk and showing up online in a happy, positive and supportive way. 4) Be happy to muck in when necessary on loads of other jobs (Eg. we might have to send a postcard to our customers, and that means writing a really nice message on the postcard to each of them by hand and sending it so they keep loving Life Hack "Diet" as much as we do!)
I'm afraid we don't have a massive budget and initialy this will probably be 5-10 hours per week, but that will change once we go global, but I can't promise that will be this year ha ha :) (but be under no doubt it will be at some point).
Don't worry, we are not looking for Shakespeare, we are more interested in someone that can write engaging copy. All our copy is written in a friendly spoken way, so it's about building rapport with our Rebels. Let us know your instagram or facebook page and we can have a look at how engaged you are (there won't be any need to promote us by the way).
So, if you're new to People Per Hour, or just bored of all the run-of-the-mill work out there, and you want something that is more fulfilling and will stretch your abilities, and grow you as a person to be the best version you can be then write a message that wakes me up as much as this one did you, shows off your skills, and you might be hired!
