Expected duration: 1 - 6 months We're looking for someone to join our small team to lead the technical development capability of a website /platform (currently based on Wordpress) operating in the outdoor, active, wellbeing sector. The site is at an MVP stage and the developer who is leaving is on hand to do a handover / explain everything and work with you moving forwards as needed. We're looking for someone who is a great developer and very familiar with the skills listed (and more) and really passionate about creating great digital products, wants to work closely with the team to understand opportunities/requirements and make quick agile, iterative based improvements to the site. Someone with a flair for user interface development would be great as we'd prefer to invest budget in development rather than UI design as a separate role. Someone who is very aware of the need for ongoing testing, for performance and scalability tuning at all times and someone who really gets it and wants to do a great job. We're looking for someone who wants to really push the platform & product, lead the development of an App and create a truly stunning website/platform/app. This is a medium to long term project - we're not interested in working with someone for a few weeks. We may also ask you to demonstrate your value/capability as part of our conversations.
