Can you help me to set up a "mirror" for two cpanel servers?
I want to set up two cpanel servers in different data centres and then use Cloudflare load balancing in case server A falls over, server B will be alive.
The cpanel servers hold several "usual" accounts / domains and most of them are simple wordpress sites, some ecommerce and some email accounts. There are two ideas I have for the failover (usually failover only lasts short time as datacentre repair the issue)
Either: A) server 2 just has a "default" holding page that is shown to all of the accounts when server 1 is down: something like "sorry for inconvenience - we are temporarily offline"
B) more complex: server 2 has an exact copy of server 1: all email, accounts, databases etc - but these must be able to replicate back and forth without any issues.
I don't mind which option - it depends on cost of setting this up / your recommendation. However, the proposed solution MUST be fully automated and you MUST provide full instructions / training on how to run it / reproduce it. This could be ongoing project if you have the right skills, but I also want hands on.
