My website https://the-nuthatch.com is looking a little all over the place right now. I'm using the Salient theme on Wordpress, with my E-Commerce Store ECWID. I am happy with all of these elements. All brand assets, photos, videos, fonts etc can be provided via Google Drive etc.
Our business is a bar, we take reservations using Sevenrooms, a Gin Distiller and we sell gifts and cocktails for courrier delivery.
We therefore need our website to show the following:
Cocktail Deliveries - Short hero intro then just a ECWID widget plugin Gifts - Short hero intro then just a ECWID widget plugin & hero at the bottom with link to external gift vouchers Shop - Shop Everything Videos - Page really just needs optimising CURRENTLY HIDDEN Book a table - Sevenrooms Widget CURRENTLY HIDDEN Menu - Drop down to PDF downloads (hidden) Gift Vouchers - External link to Gift Pro gift voucher site Contact Us - Showing Map, Form & Contact Info
The sidebar menu I like, although I would prefer the floating ECWID cart to be permanently on the top right of the page. I'd also like a mailchimp sign up in the footer menu.
In terms of a homepage, I think most effective is a tiled layout with graphical links to the main pages...
KEY PROBLEMS I HAVE ENCOUNTERED DOING IT MYSELF: *All of the images are too big, and need managing better to increase page load speed & also to drop bounce rate. *I find it difficult to make it all look on brand and unified. *I have found it difficult to change the CSS (as not experienced) in ECWID to match the fonts on the site. *The fonts on the site aren't our brand fonts, I can send these over separately.
It would be useful if you were able to provide any further advice as to how you think our website could look better / function better.
