I am looking to design and create a new website for my business, which is a small accountancy firm based in the Guildford, Surrey, UK. Our current website was created by myself back in 2015/16 and it needs a refresh to show who we are and what we can offer people better (and more up to date). Website: www.bluematrix.co.uk
I built our website on WordPress, and would prefer the new website to be built on WordPress again as I’m very familiar with this CMS. I did purchase the X Theme about 2 years ago, but never progressed very far in developing a new site, due to time constraints, but using this Theme (X Theme) would be great – if possible.
I would like to find someone that not only can construct an amazing fresh website, but also consider the type of work we do, who we are and our competitors through how we market ourselves. I’m happy to get involved and offer guidance and views on anything that is required to get to the end goal during the project. I have some basic visual ideas, with the main aims of the site being clean, modern and the ability for whoever enters the site to get to where they need to with limited number of clicks or searching around menus.
Also, if you are able to provide/create graphics for the website, that would be great.
The Website needs to have a chat function (happy to use any service within reason – (like the idea of an offline AI or something..), and good way of people getting touch via an online form, etc. The website also needs to be ‘light’, i.e. needs to have good load speed on Desktop and Mobile. I currently use Hubspot for contacts, but again, happy to use any other service – just needs to have Google recaptcha or something similar that will definitely stop spam.
The main pages/areas I would like to work on are (not limited to): Home page Services Page/s for particular type of individual viewing site (i.e., from a Self Employed, Limited Company or individual’s perspective). Blog Page (Main page of topics plus at least one example Blog to get me started (nice layout)). About Us Contact Us
As mentioning I have ideas on the pages and layouts, and what would be great is to have someone with Marketing, design and website development skills to bring these ideas alive. Happy to go with the flow with someone else’s ideas and thoughts.
Time scale of this is not strict, so, not required ASAP, but just as soon as it can be ready (don’t want to rush it). Budget is not particularly set and will depend on multiple factors.
To summarise, I’m looking to get someone to help design and develop a new website for my accountancy business on WordPress. Needs to be clean, modern and show us off in the best possible way, simply – e.g., not cluttered with lots of writing and very easy to navigate to where the viewer wants to get to quickly. I’m flexible on ideas, and happy to be lead with someone’s great ideas and give my views along the way. I have some thoughts, but you may have better ideas.
