We are building a wordpress plugin that allows a site owner to have recommended content show in a widget on their website, fed by an external RSS feed. The plugin will allow site owners to customize which types of content will appear on their site from the external RSS feed. The plugin will map the site's RSS feed back to a separate server where it will be combined with other information to provide a feed of its own.
The plugin needs to be compatible with all other major plugins and be customizable to fit the look and feel of the sites that it shows up on.
The deliverable is a working, easily installable wordpress plugin and accompanying documentation.
