We have had our website designed and converted to responsive CSS/HTML and now looking to have it integrated into Shopify as per the spec below.
GENERAL
1. The responsive HTML and CSS will be provided to you for integration with Shopify 2. The website should be desktop, mobile and tablet friendly and transactions should be thoroughly tested on all three types of devices. 3. The website should be optimised for good site speed on mobile and desktop 4. On each page there should be a mailing list signup integrated with Mailchimp or similar 5. We will need a search function, The search feature will search the product title and descriptions and return Product search results only (Not blog posts etc)
PRODUCTS
6. The website will have 24 products at launch, scaling up to 100 7. We should be able to assign (from the back end) 3 featured products to be displayed on the home page 8. The product pages will have a filter drop down menu (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc) and a ranking drop down menu (sort by price, sort by alphabetical order etc) 9. The website will need a product reviews function – we will approve reviews in the back end before they go live 10. Each product will have a separate delivery lead time, that we should be able to edit in the back end 11. We should be able to edit stock levels in the back end. If a product is out of stock, it should not be possible to order it.
CHECKOUT
12. The website will need a merchant gateway integration – most likely stripe (we have applied for an account and awaiting approval. If declined, we will opt for Paypal) 13. The checkout should support setting up of customer accounts and also login in with Facebook or a Google Account 14. The billing and shipping fields will be separate and for shipping there should be the options to add multiple recipients with a gift message field for each recipient 15. The checkout should support calculation of taxes (VAT) if needed in the future 16. We will require branded order confirmation emails with all the details entered at checkout and the estimated delivery time for each product (as above) 17. We will also need to receive an email with all order details and text for gift messages
BACK END
18. The website should support discount codes that we can create for individual products OR apply across the whole website OR supply to groups of customers to apply at checkout 19. We should be able to edit stock levels in the back ednend 20. We need to be able to view all orders in the back end, search for an order by customer name, email address or billing post code, print off invoices and order information and change order status to “dispatched” with an automatic email being sent to the customer. 21. Once the courier has been delivered, the order status should auto change to Order Complete 22. We should be able to filter orders by status between Received, Dispatched and Complete. 23. We should be able to set up multiple delivery charge structures in the back end for UK and international delivery
OTHER
24. Integration with Quickbooks plugin 25. We would need a landing page for competitions, where we can add a text and image and make it live 26. Integration with DPD and Royal Mail plugins to automate courier bookings without having to manually input order details 27. SEO measures as per this list 28. Create your own hamper feature like this. 29. We will need a blog on a subdomain, with 3 featured posts that we can assign, displayed on the home page
30. We should be able to edit the text on the home page banner and other parts if the home page, FAQ’s, terms and conditions and about us page 31. We would like an automated email sent to the customer 7 days after the order is complete/delivered, asking for feedback and a review.
