The Swiss Shakti Foundation is looking for several senior Mobile App Developers looking to thrive in a complex environment and have mastered the art of deploying mobile solutions. As a senior mobile app developer, you will be in charge of:
Implementing an agile development framework Planning Developing Launching Updating the Shakti mobile app. This is a hands-on position where you will:
co-own the development define the requirement lead the technical design discussion functionality analyze the various phases of the build process test and review the proof-of-concept with partners, stakeholders, and more. As a member of the co-lead developer, you will maintain an agile environment that produces responsive design for successful delivery; the outcome will shed light on the open-source community's superior, coordinated talent to deliver Peer-to-Peer (P2P) exchange of goods and services as a self-serving platform for the masses. This will be a substantial undertaking for a senior Mobile App Developer to oversee the development and to launch the Shakti's mobile app and work collaboratively with 600+ virtual IT personals. This is more than just a job -- it is an opportunity to play a consequential role in the blockchain-powered digital money (crypto) revolution and shape and build a socially responsible solution that will shape our society.
Responsibilities:
Identify and plan for new features to achieve major milestones; handle different teams efficiently in order to collaborate towards the completion of the project. Ability to work autonomously on the project while also operating with a teamwork mentality. Ability to develop a quality product as well as suggest and implement new mobile products, applications, and protocols. Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding mobile apps Work closely with colleagues to constantly innovate app functionality and design Use and adapt existing web applications for apps Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions Brainstorm with the leads of the various teams to gather requirements and prioritize and delegate key tasks to team members. Responsible for being a liaison between business and technology teams to ensure the project's needs are adequately met with technology solutions. Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Business Solutions teams. Design effective launch programs with partners to ensure that the products and feature releases are tested before broad-scale deployment. Communicate with users to understand their needs and experiences The Mobile App Developer will be responsible for developing application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality and to ensure the delivery of quality projects on-time.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Proven hands-on experience of a minimum of 5-years of demonstrable mobile app development experience Possess the ability to operate in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment to quickly and effectively identify issues with systems and processes, and recommend the appropriate solutions. Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store and/or the Android market Extensive knowledge of a minimum of one of the common frameworks such as AppCenter by MS, Flutter SDK, React Native, Ionic, Mobile Angular UI, jQuery Mobile, Xamarin, Onesin UI, Intel XDK, or any other relevant common frameworks used in the emerging mobile app development Extensive knowledge of CSS, AngularJS, Java, Swift, NodeJS, and/or C# Familiarity with OOP design principles Experience with third-party libraries and APIs Superior analytical skills with an agile problem-solving attitude Ability to perform in a remote work environment Ability to interpret and follow technical plans Proven track record of successfully delivering complex solutions; on time, on budget, and with a passion for high quality with an eye for pixel-level details Self-motivated, proactive, creative, and demonstrated with critical thinking capabilities. Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, interpersonal, relationship building, counseling, and team building Possess a Bachelors / Masters in Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical field.
