To help us achieve this, we are looking to add to our in house SEO team someone who has experience in generating traffic in the USA. We need a dynamic leader with a passion for all things SEO, who can help us deliver our traffic targets.
Please note, experience in generating organic traffic from the USA is a necessary.
Responsibilities:
Handling all aspects of SEO (Search Engine Optimizer), SEM (Search Engine Marketing). Research and implement SEO recommendations. Work with the technical team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented. Responsible for managing content strategy, link building & keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions. Implement and administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, webmaster tools, etc). Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and SEO reports, and provide recommendations accordingly. Perform off-page tasks, including article insertion /press release/ directory submissions, RSS feeds, forum postings, blog posts, social bookmarking and commenting on social networks. Ability to manage Micro-sites Ensure all SEO Work, both Off Page and On Page done is on par with Industry Standards. Provide SEO Analysis and Recommendations to Development, Testing and Content Team E-mail Marketing, Content & Blog Marketing, Analytics & Reporting & Continuous Market research Drive new strategy and growth. You'll identify opportunities for growth and help outline the strategy to keep our process cutting-edge in the industry.
Required Candidate profile Minimum 4 years experience in managing SEO for a heavy traffic website - ideally over 100k unique monthly visitors for an American audience. Experience in off page and on page Conversant with different SEO tools for keyword and competitor research Awareness of up to date best practices on Google Must have Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tool Highly energetic with strong verbal and written communication skills SEO certification from leading certification providers Be a player, coach and mentor. Weekly one-on-ones and group meetings are essential to ensure the team is going to be successful; you'll get your hands dirty with key projects and initiatives as our goal is to build a world class SEO team with leaders
