Expected duration: Not sure I am looking for a developer with knowledge of PPC XML feeds, API, scripting, ad platform tracking and good knowledge of multiple developer skillsets.
We are hoping to send traffic to various PPC XML feeds using a methodology that requires a programmatically designed solution to track and redirect clicks, work with databases, scrape data and manage our traffic. We will need a backend and front end.
We are marketers and don't have the technical knowledge to set this up ( it can be difficult to explain ) So the scope of the work may change. We will endeavour to explain what we need as precisely as possible.
The short version is that we are buying traffic and sending it to an PPC XML feed; but in a specific way and the way we need to do it requires elements of click redirection, ctr management, data scraping, traffic segmentation and so on.
I need someone who is readily available, proactive, with a problem solving attitude. Prior experience of XML and pop, cpv ad networks is a bonus but not essential. Since the technical solution vs the marketing vision may need to be done a certain way you should not be afraid of speaking out.
The budget is fixed for the purposes of launching the job advert but there could be all sorts of additional milestones. If you have worked with the Yahoo!/Bing XML formerly Overture.com then that would be an added bonus.
