I am looking for a professional full stack web developer whom I can trust completely to help building an informational web portal and then do the follow up, updating and upgrading.
This is a scalable platform and in less than 3 years the present target market should increase substantially.
The platform is a combination of different directories and information. It gathers content to be distributed among news, topics, jobs, events, venues, services, etc. In total there are 12 vertical sections in one single place. Some of these are quite similar in design and functionalities. All these sections cross with several horizontal management systems:
- online content management,
- ads management
- online payments,
- user dashboard,
- user points and automatic gifts
- tracking user journeys,
- customisation system,
- page layout system,
- search results system,
- SEO system (for each page and each piece of content),
- staff and contributors control system,
- etc.
Each registered user will have its own dashboard which functionalities will depend on the user's role or level. The user dashboard as well as the blogs are designed in a way that looks similar to facebook.
Web application to integrate all the different sections such as LARAVEL may be of use for this platform (Wordpress and its CMS will not fit in).

The front end and parts of the back end have already been drafted in detail on paper (and there is already an incomplete version of the news section online).
Needless to say that design plays a major role and thus you should be able to build the wireframe taking into consideration responsiveness, find the right icons, be creative and innovative to come up with a simple but efficient and likeable design for the western market.

You should be really highly professional, fast and resilient, with a creative and entrepreneurial mind, ready to work 45h+ a week for the next 6 months. You should aim the long term!
Besides mastering all the technical requirements to develop the backend and front end (including the mobile version) you should understand well:
- all aspects about hosting (for now digital ocean and Aws),
- how the main social media platforms work,
- how to organise email listings and send mass-emails for newsletters,
- how to optimise SEO 2021 and beyond,
- have a strong knowledge how google ads (and also from other systems) work, including auction systems,
- how to create a system for advertising online and create ad campaigns,
- how to develop user dashboards,
- how to create APIs such as to extract data from own account in facebook, and RSS,
- how to use free sources for maps and add new features,
- have a very good eye for design, including the choice of icons and colors
- etc.
and ideally have a good understanding of legal aspects related to privacy, copyright, selling online, servers.
You should
- be educated in a relevant field, preferably in an area related to IT and/or the development of complex websites
- have more than 5 years relevant work experience with the type of technologies needed to develop this platform
- speak and write english very well
- be very well organised and respect deadlines
- be honest, creative, pro-active, have a positive critical approach and be a problem solver
- preferably have worked in the corporate world
You need to be solely focused on this project. You would be working full time together with me, the CEO, who has successful proven business experience with this type of projects, and who will be also working full time in the project.
