I'm currently hosting a Squarespace website. www.georgewilkinson.co. There are two pages that I'm not happy with.
One is my Author page, where I have a newsletter block set-up to capture and email address in return for the 1st chapter of a book. Here I need the text blocks where you enter the email address, etc to be smaller and to look more appealing. The Download button to be a little sexier. Also, I need more of a gap between the download NOW button and the email address. Nothing flash, just some simple changes here to make the page more appealing in order to help draw people in.
There is another page that is hidden, which I have included in the attachment. Here I am looking at creating an improved and eye-catching (but not cheap looking) book landing page This will include a picture of me, the 3d image of the book. A coloured button which is yellow, and as you hover over it, it changes colour or lifts slightly; anything to catch the eye. This will be used to take the user to a 2nd page that asks for their email address in exchange for the 1st chapter of my book. Both pages will require a small amount of copy which I will provide.
Note, the current set-up fires off the details captured to MailChimp.
