We have an application that is written in C# and has approximately 25k lines of code. The application worked at some point but was neglected and abandoned and we want to get this back on track. The application purpose is to write reports; to allow user to to develop basic report and export it into html and/or pdf using our . The report format has fixed sections that are database driven and then would allow user to insert customized text at fixed points and allow for insertion of any. number of Issues that follow fixed templates. Then there is a summary section for all of the Issues.
move/refactor to single page application using .net core mvc host in electron replace with microsoft razor engine for data binding
Later we will expand functionality to export to Google Docs and add other functionality, but that is in phase II of this project.
There will be follow-on work as we expand the capabilities of the project assuming everything looks good from this first phase.
