I need a custom website where a front end is simply a marketing tool with examples of work, images, text, and contact details. The main bulk of the work is in the back-end.
Imagine the following scenario: An office/firm comes to my website by chance or invitation. They sign up to the website, entering the firm name, contact details, and whatnot. They agree to the T&C, and digitally sign an engagement letter to hire me as a freelancer. I get a notification of the new client and can view online, a copy of the engagement letter, signed T&C's, and other documents. Something like a Docusign plugin or the same.
Now, the client has a job for me, they log into their membership page, and create a job with a title, description, address and other fields. Then post the job. I get a notification, log into my side, where I see all jobs with all clients, click on that and either reject, amend, or approve the job right there in the platform.
I go and do the work and once complete, upload the image and data files to the client's job, then marking complete. The client then has access to the requested files to download or leave saved on the server to access for up to 12 months. Once I click complete, this generates an invoice to them for the completed work.
The invoice is generated based on a number of factors, a number of hours worked (per hour rate), miles above 50 at 57 cents per mile, and an image processing fee.
To clarify, the client only sees the jobs that they have posted and are current or completed. I see all the jobs current and complete.
I'm looking for this project to be completed within 1-2 weeks. Hosting will be on my GoDaddy server. This is a start from scratch website/cms. I only mention using GoDaddy as I'm a current client of them and am pleased with their service. See the attached image for a rough idea of what the back end would look like for me, and the individual job I just clicked on for more information. There's also a built-in messaging app that allows messages to be posted to the board for the client/agent to see. Image files uploaded are large and around 1 gigabyte each.
