We have a WordPress / WooCommerce site which we commissioned developers in India to
customise. As each stage of development has been completed bugs have appeared on the site and
functionality has disappeared or stopped working. At times some functions have been working
without fault and then bugs have appeared later on or the function has stopped working.
Support and customer service from the original developers has been poor and has worsened, leaving
us with little confidence that they can finishing the project.
We are looking for a developer to fix the bugs & finish the development of the site. There will likely
be more on-going work available to the developer once this project has been completed.
Time Scale:
We are working on completion 26.06.20. We appreciate this may be difficult, therefore we are
looking for a developer to diagnose the problems and propose an achievable timescale as close to
the 26.06.20 as possible.
Site Context:
We are a UK base cardboard box supplier who have developed a reuse initiative designed to help
companies reuse each other’s cardboard boxes. Our mission is to help companies reduce their
impact on the environment and make the packaging industry more sustainable. Reuseabox.co.uk will
be an e-commerce site designed to help companies find a used cardboard box suitable for their
product.
Please Note:
We have customised the way woocommerce handles our stock, the product stock level is divided
between the variable (“purchase options”) see annotated mock up attached explaining the
functionality. Titled “Woocomerce stock calculation explained”.
All of this was working correctly, however when the previous developers fixed a bug some of this
functionality stopped working. This will need fixing.
Due to the issues we had with the previous developers, we're looking for a developer to deliver the complete project with full testing already done.
A deposit will be made for the project and the remaining balance paid once confirmed that the site is fully operational.
